I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End this weekend and rather enjoyed it for the most part. Obviously it's not high cinema--it's a spectacle movie, period. But it's a generally entertaining spectacle, and that's all I really wanted of it.
As usual, Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow is one of the better parts of these movies, so I did another Jack Sparrow sketch. This one's inspired by one of my favorite aspects of this installment: all the multiple Jacks! Enjoy.

Oh, eff you for posting spoilers in your GD blog you know I check every GD day, A-hole.
ReplyDeleteGEEEEEZ, man! Sorry if this really all that spilierish, I really don't want to become one who spoils.
ReplyDeleteMost of the reviews I've read/heard refer to multiple Jacks appearing in this movie, so I didn't realize their existence was a major giveaway.
If it makes you feel better, multiple Jacks appear in multiple and unexpected scenarios, not just something like I depicted, so you still get plenty to unsuspect.
agreed, the art direction was amazing so everything and everyone looked good while the plot...wasn't there
ReplyDeletep.s. fun illustration!!
ReplyDeletenice jack(s)
ReplyDeleteWhat a buncha jack crap. A spoiler to me is anything that isn't expressly given away in a trailer. I don't read reviews because they spoil. John C hates you too. and John loves everyone.
ReplyDeleteNice drarings anyways. ;)
Love your Johnny drawing!!
ReplyDeleteawesome! I love his expression...you totally captured his personality:)
