Hitchhiking Ghosts!

My favorite ride at Walt Disney World is and will likely forever be the Haunted Mansion.
I figured that the Halloween season was the perfect time of year to do some fan art, featuring the ride's most iconic characters, The Prisoner, The Traveler, and The Skeleton...better known as the Hitchhiking Ghosts! Enjoy!

Battle of the Funny Hats!

When it occurred to me that main characters from two of my favorite shows (Bob's Burgers and Adventure Time) constantly wear funny animal hats, I had to do some crossover fan art.Enjoy!

Gordon and Rhonda!

As a child of the 80's, I was a huge fan of ALF (both the live action show and its Saturday morning cartoon spinoff).  The old ALFster still holds a special place in my heart today, and so I'm occasionally moved to draw him.  This time around, I drew the animated version of Gordon Shumway with his lady-love Rhonda. Enjoy!

Commission: Wizards!

Here's a commission I did recently for members of a Utah Air National Guard squadron. The logo on their patch features a wizard, and the client wanted artwork in which a sexy sorceress replaced the wizard, as seen below (along with a picture of the original patch design).

They also needed artwork for a T-shirt to be used in a race their coed team was to participate in. The shirt features a wizard and sorceress running together!

It Gets Lonely Out In Needles...

Lately I've been making my way through the 80s in Fantagraphics' ongoing (and lovely) collections of of Peanuts strips.  During this period, Snoopy's brother, Spike, makes quite a lot of appearances, so I ended up drawing him.  In hindsight, I didn't make him quite skinny enough...but still a fun one to draw. Enjoy!

Mrs. Rabbit

Considering that Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my all-time favorite movies, it's kind of shocking that I've done so little fan art in recent years.  After recently watching the new Blu-ray edition, I decided it was indeed time for a little fan art, and I chose Jessica for this go-round. Enjoy!

The slightly weird pose was inspired by a photo in a sales catalog. My sketch study of the original photo is found bleow:

Jenn & Bueno: Charles Holbert Edition

A while back I commissioned the talented Charles Holbert to do his take on Jenn & Bueno. Here is the result! I think it's a fantastic addition to my growing collection of guest artist Jenn & Bueno's!

McDuck & McQuack

I was a huge fan of the Duck Tales cartoon growing up. After a recent purchase of some collected volumes of old Carl Barks Donald Duck & Uncle Scrooge comics (which were the inspiration for Duck Tales), I decided I should finally get around to doing some fan art...these two were always my favorite characters on the show as a kid. Enjoy!

Jenn & Bueno: Tropical Getaway

For my submission to the tumblr Art Challenge’sTropical Getaway” theme, I decided to use my trusty old standbys, Jenn & Bueno!

I hope Jenn’s skirt is made of some sort of fake, flame-retardant material and not actual grass! Enjoy!

Batdance

Stop the press, who is that

A recent theme over on The tumblr Art Challenge was "Prince". This simple occurrence resulted in my drawing something I never expected I'd find myself drawing..."Batdance" fan art. Alas...enjoy!

And in case you're too young or too forgetful to remember the weirdness that was that song/music video...oh..the 80's...

Jenn & Bueno: 2013!

Since 2011 I've been neglecting my once-regularly-appearing characters, Jenn & Bueno. I decided to dust them off for a quick illustration to ring in the New Year! I never deliberately meant to let them fall by the wayside...maybe they'll start to work their way back into rotation this year? At any rate, Happy New Year, everyone!
