Jenn & Bueno: Valentines

Valentine's Day can’t come around without me thinking about those little Valentines that you share with your classmates in elementary school. You know the ones—with the popular characters of your choice spouting corny phrases and unbearable puns. Even back when girls had the cooties, there was something fun about those little cards.

So in a fit of nostalgia, I’ve created some Jennifer & Bueno Valentines in just that spirit! I actually had a lot of fun with this project. Hopefully some of the fun I had with them comes through. Enjoy!

Using the ma
gic of Photoshop, I created an unconvincing, fake pile of cards.

But wait! The pile of cards doesn’t have to be unconvincing and fake!
In an added little bit of fun, here are links to higher resolution images of the cards (both the fronts and backs) you can print at actual size, cut out, and share if you feel so inclined.

After all, what better way to say, “I love you” than with a corny Valentine featuring two completely unknown cartoon characters that you printed off the Internet for free?

And finally, since you've come to expect them from me, here are the pencil prelims!
