Pan's Labyrinth

I finally got to see Pan's Labyrinth this weekend and was really impressed. While painfully brutal and more than a little disturbing, it's also a very well done and darkly beautiful fairy tale for adults. I was inspired to do a sketch this afternoon.

I decided to slap a little color on the sketch using my brand-new Wacom tablet. It's my first time to ever use one, so this was just fooling around for practice, trying to get used to the feel of the pen.
Anyway, here's the sketch. Enjoy.

Glad you got to see it and enjoy it. Disturbing, I'm sure. Wacom = Gooooood.

I wouldn't be able to tolerate the excessive violence-just to get to the good stuff.

unless Burton or Polanski
were directing it.

nice drawing.
enjoy the new tablet.

Thanks for the comments as always!

Brian: Relatives of Jenn & Bueno?! I certainly hope not! I sincerely hope Jenn & Bueno are infinitely more lighthearted and upbeat than anything in this movie! :)
