Waitress

Here's a sketch of a waitress who apparently works at one of the more classy dining establishments. And that's about all there is to be said for it. Enjoy (and tip generously)!

**EDIT 9/7** I added an additional sketch down below! Make sure you check it out, all ye who've already seen the original waitress.

A friend joked that she liked the shorts in this picture so much she wished she could borrow them.
Careful what you wish for in front of a cartoonist.

Woo hoo!
If the food doesn't give you a heart attack then the attire will! But don't worry, the food will definitely give you a heart attack. So you won't need to explain yourself to your date.

Excellent drawing. Very nice shorts.

never been to one.
not sure if I'm missing out?

are you digitally inking your lines?
nice drawing and colors

Thanks for the comments, guys!

Michael: Huzzah for heart attacks! Glad you dig the shorts.

Brian: No digital inking here (or inking of any kind). This is just the original sketch scanned and colored. (Though I did digitally color the pencil outline on the legs and such, obviously).

And whether or not you're missing out depends entirely on how much you like various forms of fried, buffalo-style chicken. They do pretty well with that sort of stuff if one is so inclined to enjoy eating it on occasion.

What's up with the two tone skin? ;)
Her legs are darker than the upper half. And that may be how she actually looked or ?? You know I'm just giving you a hard time. =)

I like the one you added at the bottom too. I needed a laugh this morning, and that helped.
