Lydia Pin-Up No. 3

Over the past couple of years, around Halloween, I've done a pin-up style illustration of a slightly older version of Lydia from the 90's animated series, Beetlejuice. I decided to keep with that tradition this year, although this years' may just be more "Halloween-y" than "pin-uppy".

Lydia's school uniform was the last of her three main costumes from the show that I hadn't used yet, so it's featured here. Who knows where I'll go next year! For now, enjoy!

You can also revisit the previous Lydia illustrations along with this one!

Lydia at the Beach

Continuing what has become a more-or-less yearly Halloween tradition for me, here's another pin-up of (a more grown-up) Lydia from the old Beetlejuice cartoon.

This year she and the B-man have taken a trip to the beach! Enioy!

Lydia Pin-Up

A bonus update for this week brings more fan art from the 90's Beetlejuice cartoon. A couple of years ago I did a sort of pin-up illustration of an older Lydia. That one's gotten a lot of positive response since then, and it was fun to do...so here's another one! Enjoy, and, again, Happy Halloween!

Also, for those who read it, there are new posts in my Dream Journal.
Also a new post over at the Photography Blog

It's Showtime!

One more post for Halloween! I loved the Beetlejuice cartoon as a kid (or as an adolescent, which probably more accurately describes where I was back then). I actually liked it more than I ever liked the movie. So when I saw the movie on TV the other night...I had to do some cartoon fan art. One which is fairly on-model with the cartoon, and one featuring a slightly older version of Lydia (which was born out of my doodles in prep for the other piece, and I decided to finish it as well). Enjoy, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

In the original sketches below, note how TINY Lydia is next to Beetlejuice!
How did I not notice that until after I scanned it in???
Probably because I hadn't seen the cartoon in years, but really?
THAT tiny and I didn't notice?
