Wicked
After being a fan of the novel for quite some time, I finally had the opportunity last weekend to see the Broadway musical, Wicked. The musical didn't let me down, as I thoroughly enjoyed the show! Over two hours of pure spectacle...and while Avenue Q will probably always be my technical favorite, I can definitely say this one is the actual best of the very few Broadway shows I've had the chance to see so far.

so the book is about their past together?
nice concept
An early part of the book deals heavily with the forming of their unlikely friendship in college, but it's not the central focus of the book (though their lives do remain entwined throughout).
The play puts a greater emphasis on it than the book.
