The fact that Tim Burton's upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie has created a lot of Alice hype of late has only served to stir up my lifelong love of Lewis Carroll's characters. So I thought it was time I gave them the Studio Bueno treatment.
Given the many interpretations of the characters over the years, especially the original illustrations by Tenniel and Holiday, and Disney's very Tenniel-and-Holiday-inspired designs, it was quite daunting to try to put an original spin on the characters.
Also, I added fake aging. For no reason whatsoever. Enjoy!

I found your blog on Google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
Hey, cool new bg and header!
I used your Neil Gaiman story in a Salty 'Ham Jam post.
In the Alice piece, your tree roots have knees! I know what you mean, though.

Thanks for the comments, all!
Chris: If a tree is going to have knees, where else would it be but in Wonderland?!
And thanks for pimpin' the Neil Gaiman post!
Great.
I wish I had seen this version on-screen instead of Burtons
Narniesc Version. I love the skinny
rabbit character in the orange suit
