A picture a friend took of herself as she was goofing off with her camera was the inspiration for this piece. As usual, my ability to capture likeness is not the world’s greatest by any stretch of the imagination, but hopefully I at least captured the spirit of the original picture. Also, this was the first time I played with colored pencils in a long, long time, and it probably shows. At any rate, it was fun to get them out again for a bit of experimenting. Perhaps I’ll play with them some more in the future?
