No Ducks In Mexico

Wow, another seqeuntial work from me! This makes two Heydaze comics in under a month! Am I feeling okay?

Anyway, this comic was inspired by an actual encounter I had with a strange fellow when walking at an area park last summer. I wrote a rough "script" right after the experience, intending to dramatize it in the form of a comic then, but I never got around to it (imagine that). So now, a year later, I finally dug the ideas back out and went to work.

I have taken almost NO liberties with the dialogue, though the character playing my role is reacting a tad more openly sarcastically than I was.

Finally, this comic is the first one I've tried leaving in sketched pencil form...we'll see how it works.

And now, enjoy the following five pages of pointlessness!

Thanks to all of you! With encouragement like this, I just might find myself inspired to actually get off my lazy bum and draw some MORE stuff in the comic format...

And belinha, thanks also for the comments on the Jack Sparrow drawings. Yes, you definitely need to see the movie!

You know, somewhere, way in the back of my mind, I've always wondered if those ducklings ever got any Pop-Tarts or not.
