Going Banoggins!

One of the many random characters in my head whom I unfortunately never actually do anything about is a little monkey named Banoggins. He's gone through several revisions as he's appeared in doodles over time, and here are just a few of his recent appearances in rough sketches (in some of which, obviously, he appears alongside that alligator that's also been popping up recently).

That Gator May well be one of my favorite things you draw. Just wanted you to know that. XXOO

you HAVE to do something with characters this appealing, the stories are just waiting to be written.

I love the shape of the alligator...he's very unique.

Really, Dick, the gator is one of your favorite things? Thanks to both of you for the comments...glad the alligator is so popular. He's quite fun to draw, and he was very much the accidental creations (I find my accidental creations end up being the most enduring, like, oh, say...Bueno, for instance). So maybe that means something. Who knows, this monkey/gator duo may get more fleshing out after all...

Great character studies Andrew! I have to agree with Brian, you have to do something with these guys :)
